Today we’re announcing an addition to our Access Reviews product that will have ConductorOne users and their auditors high-fiving each other!
Introducing data accuracy reporting — an industry-first feature that automates the process of confirming and proving data accuracy for user access reviews (UARs). Now ConductorOne users can proactively catch and remediate accuracy issues before conducting UARs and automatically capture evidence of accuracy to share with auditors.
Ensuring that UARs have been performed using quality data is crucial for successful internal and external audits. But until now, security and GRC teams and auditors have had to rely on the time-consuming, error-prone process of taking manual screenshots to prove data accuracy. ConductorOne’s automated data accuracy reporting is a game-changer for teams and auditors alike.
Why accuracy reporting matters
Those who regularly participate in compliance audits are intimately familiar with the phrase “completeness and accuracy.” Proving that audit data is both complete and accurate is of paramount importance to auditors, who must ensure that audits are performed using high-quality, relevant information.
In the case of UARs, “completeness” means that all in-scope data has been properly gathered and included in the access review. “Accuracy” means that in-scope data is correct and up to date as of the time of the access review. Security and GRC teams working with internal and external auditors are responsible for providing credible evidence of both the completeness and accuracy of UARs.
ConductorOne already streamlines the process of scoping and running complete UARs, allowing users to easily select all the data they need to include in access reviews with just a few clicks. But until now, confirming and providing evidence of the accuracy of that data for auditors remained a manual process.
ConductorOne’s latest feature closes this automation gap, proactively surfacing accuracy issues and capturing time-stamped, detailed proof of accuracy that’s easily shared with auditors—making audits less time-consuming, more accurate, and smoother for everyone involved.

How it works
Users creating an access review campaign in ConductorOne will now see an Accuracy view that lists all the data sources associated with the campaign’s in-scope data. If a listed data source has an issue, like a connection error or stale sync date, the issue is flagged for easy detection.
Users can remediate issues directly from the Accuracy view with the click of a button—instantly resyncing data or notifying the appropriate data source owner that an update is needed.
When an access review begins, ConductorOne captures the data used from each data source in a detailed, time-stamped file.
ConductorOne’s comprehensive, auditor-ready access review reports now include an Accuracy tab with relevant details about the accuracy status of each data source used, including a link to each source’s detailed file, should auditors want to vet the data further.
